Step 1
Preheat the mesh filter and the filter cap of Coffeeology Press
Simply pour hot water onto the mesh filter and the filter cap in order to keep them warm. Here, the water has two purposes: it both warms your brewing kettle and aids in the attachment of the filter to the top.
Caution: Beware of hot water while pouring!
-
Step 2
Assemble the Coffeeology Press
Take out plunger from the brewing chamber. Place the brewing chamber on a table or counter top. The numbers should appear upside-down.
-
Step 3
Add your ground coffee
Pour max. 25g coffee ground into the brewing chamber.
Note: We recommend grinding the coffee into medium-fine.
-
Step 4
Place mesh filter & Fasten the cap
Place the mesh filter into the brewing chamber. Fasten the cap, ensuring it locks into the grooves tightly.
-
Step 5
Select the intensity
Select Bold or mild coffee flavors and intensity you like by sliding the valve cap.
-
Step 6
Start pouring
Flip over the Coffeeology Press onto your cup and start pouring hot or cold water into the brewing chamber. Fill to the line markings shown (200ml /serve).
Note: Hot water boils ideally 89C- 93C.
-
Step 7
Start Brewing
Press the plunger to activate the coffee and create your brewing recipe.
Friendly tips: Press down 50ml for pre-wetting. Your coffee is fully brewed once it begins to make a hissing sound.
-
Step 8
After Brewing
Once you’ve finished brewing and unscrewed the cap, take out the mesh filter and you can pop out the puck of condensed grounds by simply pushing Coffeeology Press’s interior section a final inch.
Now, ENJOY!
